Happiness Is… Competition
Draw a picture of ‘Happiness’ – and get published in Storytime!
One of the biggest challenges faced by parents, teachers and carers, particularly recently, is helping children to talk about and deal with
their feelings. This is why we’ve created this special competition with an accompanying activity pack.
Inside the pack you will find fun exercises that encourage children to think about the different emotions that they experience, as well as ideas about how they can express them in a healthy way.
This pack also includes our new Storytime Happiness Is… Competition! Once you have gone through all the activities with your children, ask them to draw a picture of what happiness looks like to them. If they complete the entry form and send their pictures in, they could win an amazing book bundle, a winner’s certificate, and have their art featured in a future issue of Storytime!
To enter, you can photocopy or cut out the form from your latest issue of Storytime, or download it from this link here. Then draw your picture on it and fill in your details.
Your picture must be original and must not have been published before.
Email your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org or post it to: Happiness Is… Contest, Storytime Magazine, 61 Bridge Street, Kington, Herefordshire HR5 3DJ
The competition is open to children aged 3 to 9, and you don’t have to be a Storytime reader to enter.
The closing date is 30th November 2021, and you can read full terms and conditions here.
